Government should work with citizens, not around them.

Citizens should never be treated as outsiders or afterthoughts in their own government. We should not have to beg for public information, struggle to be heard, or discover important decisions only after they have been made. That is why I am running for City Council: to put Citizens First into action and restore the promise of self-government.

Public power belongs to the people. Public money is entrusted by the people. Public officials are chosen to serve the people. That promise requires active citizenship, truthful communication, public responsibility, and leaders who listen, understand, plan, fund, oversee, and report back.
